Welcome to Black Bear Timberframing.
Black Bear Timberframing uses traditional techniques and methods as used and proven by our ancestors when this great country was still in its infancy, producing a hand finished frame using mortice and tenon joints and held together with hand made wooden pegs.
A feature of this company is repair/rebuilding of barns and other timberframe structures I welcome the opportunity to help preserve our heritage in this way.
The picture on the right shows that I do cut new frames as well as doing restoration work. Copying an old frame or creating a new one is a standard feature of BBTF. Custom designs can be created on DeltaCad a computer aided design software package. Latest drawing tool to come on board is Google Sketchup. Examples of barns and my work shown on following pages.
